This is a confidential, one-to-one meeting to discuss your case and assess suitability for mediation, and costs £85 (or £99 for out-of-hours appointments). The meeting lasts around 45 minutes and takes place online. There is no obligation to proceed with mediation afterwards.

    • Standard weekday hours for MIAMs are 9am - 5pm. (£85)

    • Out-of-hours MIAMs (£99):

      • Weekday evening starts from 5pm, usually until around 8.30pm

      • Weekend availability will vary, please check the calendar below

  • We offer a reduction of fee for anyone in receipt of any means-tested benefits such as Universal Credit, or similarly anyone on lower incomes or experiencing temporary financial hardship.

    We do not provide legal aid for mediation, but may refer you on or offer a reduced fee if you are eligible.

  • Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Our cancellations and rescheduling policy ensure that time and preparation are respected while maintaining flexibility.

    Cancellations:

    1. 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time, a £10 admin fee will be deducted from any refund.

    2. Less than 48 hours but at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time, 50% of the appointment fee will be retained and the remaining 50% refunded.

    3. Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, or failing to attend the appointment, 100% of the appointment fee will be retained.
